Where might you find me and what would I be doing??
I love being in the outdoors! I enjoy a lot of activities like biking, kayaking, walking, hiking, horseback riding, xc skiing and hanging out at parks that are dog friendly. My yorkie poo, Rylie, is usually with me either on a leash or in the backpack he loves to cruise around in. He is a tremendous biking partner and usually draws a lot of attention as we explore town or the trails.
I enjoy traveling just like my parents always did! Road trips are particularly exciting for me because I enjoy driving and finding all of the ‘hidden treasures’ around the United States. Even when going to places I know, I like to take little country back roads and try to find my way.
Reading books allows me to not only expand my world but it also keeps me learning all the time, whether it is about a new topic, writing style or even new words. I have found that reading also keeps me connected to kids. I try to stay up to date on books that help open up conversations with them.
My family and friends are important to me and I feel blessed with the depth of my relationships. As I value my own personal growth, I also value being real, vulnerable and completely authentic with people. It takes courage but I strive for this in all relationships with those I meet. As I work with kids, it is my desire they feel empowered to be the beautiful, authentic souls they are meant to be, too! The world needs more authenticity, depth, connection and love ~ being a life coach for young people, I am passionate about making this happen, one child at a time!
