They say wisdom is knowing who you are.
Life is a beautiful journey of discovering who I truly am. Knowing I am connected to something greater, I grow more deeply grateful to feel I am doing what I came here to do. I am not simply following my passion, but living my mission. Day by day. With my focus on walking my talk, I know there is a direct connection between what I say and choices I make in my life. As I continue to evolve and grow, I lovingly accept my perfect imperfections!
Each experience in my life has shaped the person I am.
I have a profound belief in the path I’ve taken to get here. I trust that every person and encounter, every struggle and pain has all been a part of my "Ph.D training". These experiences impact not only who I am, but how deeply I can connect with kids, parents and teachers, because I've braved my own healing journey and continue to. When you've experienced a lot in life, there is a knowing that can't be taught. My intuition is felt deep inside and allows me to support my clients from a space of nonjudgment and compassion.
I have an unshakable knowing
I know that I’ve been called to help kids and adults understand who they truly are, free of the limiting stories others tell them or they tell themselves, so they feel strong in their inner truth and have a voice on their unique journey.
I deeply trust my ability to listen with clarity and unbias, all judgment aside, with a huge amount of compassion, empathy and love.
I embrace more deeply with each child and family I meet, my willingness to allow my intuition to guide me. I don't need to have the answers, rather I trust in the process and unfolding of all that needs to come for each kiddo and family, teacher and classroom. I am deeply committed to to the belief that every child has their unique purpose and each family is blessed with the exact combination of personalities they need in order for each member to follow their soul's journey.
As a holistic life coach, I never see myself as the all knowing giver of information.
Rather I am a guide, role model, listener, facilitator of self discovery, encourager, mentor, learner, cheerleader (minus the skirt!), spark for inner joy, inner knowing & self love, appreciator of uniqueness and diversity, and a challenger of self doubt, self criticism, judgment and expectations.
The environment I create is free of limitations, restrictions, expectations, labels, unhealthy competition and conformity. I have the freedom and flexibility to meet kids, families and teachers where they are!
A BIT MORE ABOUT ME...
I am blessed to share my journey with my Yorkie Poo, Rylie. His presence in my life has blessed me beyond words. Since helping him beat cancer, I’ve learned to trust my deep inner knowings to guide me.
I love being outdoors. The woods is where I feel most at peace and connected. Rylie and I are an inseparable team on adventures to explore or just BE. Traveling is definitely a part of who I am, a love I learned from my parents. Road trips are particularly exciting as I love driving and exploring little country back roads, finding hidden treasures and wandering to see what I can find.
Relationships with friends and family are important and provide a source of much growth, insight, vulnerability and willingness to be authentic. This area of my life continues to change and evolve greatly as I become more secure with who I am, value myself more deeply and commit to honoring who I am the best I can. I am courageous in my willingness to stay true to me, while keeping my intention loving and open. I am a seeker of true connection, depth, authenticity and most of all love, that is centered in kindness, realness and truth.
I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Human Development. I also earned a license in Adapative Education, as well as Elementary and Middle Level Education. I am a certified Holistic Life Coach.
